1. How to get there?
Access from bus, train and airport is easy as the bus and train stations are within ten minutes walking distance to the hotel. Coming from the airport take the Skylink Shuttle Bus which has a small return journey charge and an almost continuous service each day from 0430 – 0030.
2. Car Parking
Limited car parking (100m from hotel) is available on a first come first served basis. The charge for this is €5 per night and it can be prebooked online. When all spaces are full, guests will be directed to a Multi storey car park (50m from hotel) with special overnight rate for Hotel Isaacs guests.
Please check in at hotel, drop your luggage and directions to carparking will be given to you by reception.
5. Is the hotel in the city centre?
Yes Hotel Isaacs is in the city centre. It is 10 minutes by foot from the train station and 5 minutes from the Bus station and the main shopping street in Cork, Patrick Street. Shops, theatres, pubs, restaurants, nightclubs as well as the commercial and legal centre of Cork, are all 0 - 15 minutes maximum walk.
6. Does the hotel accept group bookings?
Unfortunately due to the size of the hotel we are unable to accept group bookings. We regret to advise you that if the hotel discovers a group booking has been inadvertently taken either as a single or a multiple reservation online from different websites, we (the hotel) reserve the right to cancel the reservation on arrival and the group will forfeit in full any deposits already paid with no liability on the hotel to find alternative accommodation for the group.
7. Are there check-in/check-out times?
Rooms are available from 14.00h daily. If you plan to arrive early in the day, please let the hotel know and they will endeavour to have the rooms ready for you on arrival. Check out is 12.00h. If later an extra charge applies.
8. Is breakfast included in the rate?
In most cases breakfast is not included in the price but can be purchased either online when making your reservation, at Reception or in the restaurant. Please check your booking confirmation where it will state if you have breakfast included. Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant from 7.00h - 10.00h Monday - Friday and 7.30h -10.30h Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
9. What safekeeping facilities are available for valuables?
All bedrooms have a laptop safe.
10. Can we have dinner in the hotel?
Greenes Restaurant is the hotel's busy restaurant. As the restaurant is booked out on many nights of the week, it is highly advisable to book your table in advance as we cannot guarantee that a table will be available when you arrive. This can be done by requesting a time at your time of booking or by contacting the hotel via e-mail or by phone or contacting Greenes directly.
11. Do you have non-smoking rooms?
Yes, all superior rooms and apartments are non-smoking and most of the standard rooms are non-smoking. Please advise at time of booking if you specifically require a smoking room. Smoking is not permitted by law in all public areas of the hotel.
12. Is identification required to check in at the hotel?
All guests are requested to produce photo id at check in.
13. Are security deposits required?
For all holiday suite bookings, we required a non-refundable booking deposit of €100 and on arrival a damage deposit of €250 is payable. This damage deposit is refunded in full on departure provided there is no damage to the property or excessive disruption to other guests.
